A Glasgow shopping centre will tomorrow host a jobs fair with over 50 vacancies on offer.
From 10am until 4pm, the Glasgow Fort will welcome representatives from Wagamama, Nando’s and Footlocker as well as local organisations who will provide useful advice for potential job applications.
The event is part of Glasgow Fort’s ongoing partnership with Easterhouse-based charity FARE Scotland, a free employability programme for young people in the community.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “This event is a great opportunity for people locally to meet with representatives across a number of industries, including retail, to seek advice and learn more about the various roles available.
“We know how difficult applying for a job can be, so we want to help people in our community as much as possible.
"We’re very grateful to our long-term partners, FARE Scotland for organising such an important event.”
Visitors can find the fair at a pop-up store next to Greggs.
