A man was rushed to hospital late last night following a 'serious assault' in Rutherglen.
Cops were called to Skye Road at around 9.50pm after receiving a report that a 29-year-old man had been attacked.
He was later taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police have today said that their investigations are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50 pm on Thursday, May 18 2023, we received a report that a 29-year-old man had been seriously assaulted in Skye Road, Rutherglen.
"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
