DOZENS of police have swarmed into the city's West End amid an apparent ongoing incident.
Specialist armed cops have been spotted at the scene on Partick's Dumbarton Road near the popular Deoch an Dorus pub.
Our pictures show a police car blocking access to Hayburn Street.
While several officers appear to be conducting an investigation in the area.
Police Scotland has confirmed a 47-year-old man has been arrested.
A force spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man causing a disturbance on Great Western Road and Dumbarton Road in Glasgow around 12.45pm on Wednesday, May 24.
“A 47-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
“No one was injured.”
