A man has been arrested as part of an ongoing police investigation.
The arrest took place on Saturday, May 27 as officers executed warrants at a property in the Tullis Gardens area and the Mavisbank Street area of Airdrie.
The force did not give any more information about the investigation, but a source told the Glasgow Times that they spotted armed cops at the Glasgow property.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers executed warrants at two properties in the Tullis Gardens area of Glasgow and the Mavisbank Street area of Airdrie, on Saturday, May 27, as part of an ongoing investigation.
"A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection. He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
