Emergency services are on the scene of a grass fire near East Kilbride.
Firefighters are tackling the blaze near Calderside Road, between Blantyre and East Kilbride.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that they received a call yesterday at 3.45pm and four firetrucks are still working to extinguish the flames.
There are no reported injuries.
Yesterday night, Police Scotland said they were also in the area, assisting with the incident.
They also warn locals not to open windows to prevent smoke from entering their homes.
