Roads have reopened after a fire at a Glasgow recycling centre.
As the Glasgow Times reported earlier, a fire broke out at a waste management and recycling centre around 5pm yesterday, for the second time this year.
London Road was closed and access to Nuneaton Street was limited as emergency services dealt with the flames.
Now, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) has confirmed that they have left the scene and the area is safe.
Roads have since reopened.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.08pm on Tuesday, June 6, to a fire within the grounds of a recycling centre on Nuneaton Street, Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised seven appliances and a specialist resource to the scene to fight the blaze.
"As of Wednesday, June 7, three pumps attended in the morning to dampen down hotspots.
“Crews left the scene at 2pm after ensuring the area was safe. There were no reported casualties."
