TWO women have admitted stealing clothing from the Rangers club shop.
Shannon Duffy, 22, and Maxine Middleton, 44, committed the crime at the branch in Glasgow's city centre on August 3 2022.
Court papers state that Duffy and Gers fan Middleton broke into the shop occupied by Rangers Store.
The charge says that the pair stole a quantity of clothing.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that both women have previous convictions.
Duffy committed her latest offence while on bail for a matter in Hogmanay 2021 at Falkirk Sheriff Court.
Haroun Malik, defending Duffy, told the court that his client is subject to a community payback order.
This will be reviewed at the end of next month.
Susan Gibson, defending Middleton, stated that her client wished to be sentenced on Tuesday.
The lawyer claimed that Middleton suffers from a number of issues.
Sheriff Joseph Platt refused the request and called for background reports for both women.
Sentence was deferred until next month where more information regarding the circumstances of the offence will be heard.
Duffy, of the city centre had their bail continued meantime. Middleton of the city's Royston, was remanded.
