UPDATE: Police issue update following 'hit and run' on Dixon Road
A 999 response is underway in Glasgow's Southside with fire crews and cops locking down a city street.
Police and fire are currently at Dixon Road where it meets Victoria Road in Govanhill.
Two police vans seal off the road while firefighters appear to be outside a tenement block.
It is not clear what type of incident it is.

It comes after police also locked down nearby Aitkenhead Road due to flooding rerouting drivers through Govanhill.
It also comes after Scottish Power turned off traffic lights in G41 and G42 postcodes after torrential rain hit the city tonight.
