An update has been issued following a police incident at Aitkenhead Road.
Following reports of major flooding, the major Southside road was locked down by police on Friday night.
Glasgow City Council has issued an update, writing that the flooding was resolved just before 10pm on Friday night and Aitkenhead Road is fully reopened to traffic.
We previously reported that the junction of Aitkenhead Road at Curtis Avenue was closed to traffic by police as heavy rainfall caused heavy flooding.
During the road closure, traffic was rerouted through Govanhill.
The road closure was accompanied by the notice of a planned Southside power blackout of the G41 and G42 postcodes which lasted for 12 hours.
Power has now been restored to the area.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
