A video of the flooding chaos on Aitkenhead Road has gone viral after police were forced to lock down the area.
Tiktok user George McLellan posted a video of the street submerged in water on Friday evening, racking up over ten thousand views.
We previously reported that the Southside street was locked down as flash floods overwhelmed the busy area.
The video shows a taxi driver submerged up to its windshield attempting to travel through the deep water.

It's claimed that a cyclist attempted to pass through the flooded street and the water was up to his waist.
Emergency crews can also be seen attempting to push an ambulance out of the deluge.
The shops on the street such as William Hill also appear flooded.
We reported earlier that the road has since reopened to traffic.
