RESIDENTS in Rutherglen are facing disruption to their water supply due to a burst pipe.

Scottish Water are currently repairing a burst pipe on Greenhill Road, with customers being advised the water supply will gradually return to normal once the repair has been completed.

It is expected to be completed around 5.30pm.

While the work is carried out, customers may experience no water supply, low or intermittent pressure or discoloured water.

Scottish Water expect to repair the pipe in a timeframe that means they do not plan to provide bottled water.

We previously reported residents in Bearsden are also facing disruption to their water supply today due to another burst pipe.
