While the work is carried out, customers may experience no water supply, low or intermittent pressure or discoloured water.
Scottish Water expect to repair the pipe in a timeframe that means they do not plan to provide bottled water.
We previously reported residents in Bearsden are also facing disruption to their water supply today due to another burst pipe.
