Traffic is slow near Glasgow Airport following a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to junction 28 of the M8 this morning around 6.30am, following reports of the collision.
According to Traffic Scotland, the incident caused significant delays on the road.
It is understood there are no reports of injuries.
In a picture sent to the Glasgow Times, a car can be seen turned upside down.
In their latest update, the service said: "The Westbound exit ramp is now cleared and all lanes are running after an earlier collision."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.30am on Monday, June 26, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash westbound on the M8, near to junction 28.
"Emergency services attended and recovery was arranged."
