Two people have been rushed to hospital following a crash outside of the Cathkin Inn pub near Glasgow.
999 crews raced to Bankhead Road on Friday afternoon following the two-car collision in Rutherglen.
The condition of the persons injured in the crash is unknown.
An eyewitness told the Glasgow Times: "Police and ambulance were everywhere. I saw a small white car with its side bashed in.
"I hope everyone is okay in the car."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 1.06pm today (June 30) to attend a road traffic collision on Bankhead Road, Rutherglen.
"We dispatched a number of resources to the scene, and two patients were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.50pm on Friday, June 30, 2023, we were called to a report of a two-car crash on Bankhead Road at Mill Street.
"Emergency services are at the scene."
