From the pop-grunge punch in her debut EP to the sultry sound of her latest tunes Lucia and The Best Boys has been a continuous joy of hope and authenticity in Glasgow's music scene.
The project led by the city's very own Lucia Fairfull, has served a phenomenon of genre-bending, sensual lyrics and intoxicating instruments for several years.

The serene vocalist and whisky enthusiast, who has breathed fresh air into the gothic, alternative scene, sat down with The Glasgow Times ahead of her show at TRNSMT this weekend.
Lucia said: "This is our third time playing at the festival and I'm just going with third time is the charm.
"We've not played a festival since last year and since that time we've recorded the upcoming debut album.
"The first people I would like to share those songs with is at home, in front of the people who have supported us this whole time.
"Glasgow crowds are the best in the world and that's not a biased thing. It's known.
"I've heard a lot of artists put their Glasgow show first in the tour because we'll hype them up for the rest of the tour and they'll have the right energy. Or, they'll put it at the end because they know they will have the wildest f***ing night of the tour."
The singer, who 'loves a trip to Glasgow's Chinaski's and The Pot Still', as well as an 'old man' pub here and there, will be playing the King Tut's stage on Sunday, July 9 from 1.10pm until 1.40pm.
From new tunes to old bangers, everyone will have the opportunity to sing, dance and have their hearts 'mended'.
Lucia said: "There's something for everyone in our set.
"We do try to keep festival sets a bit more on the uplifting side, but we can try and help mend broken hearts as well.
"For TRNSMT, people can expect some goldie oldies, as well as this new side of us that I've been excited to share for so long."
This 'new side' will be expressed in Lucia and The Best Boy's debut album, 'Burning Castles', which is coming to ears everywhere on September 29.
Talking about the fresh body of work, Lucia said: "It's been a really wholesome and fulfilling journey to this point. I am really itching to see where the first album takes us. I'm so excited about it.
"It's been a slow burn (making music) but in the best possible way. I started writing tracks for the album way before lockdown but ended up coming out of it with a 12-track album.
"I adventured around Scotland during lockdown and if I didn't have the time to do that, I wouldn't have gotten the time to appreciate home and found the inspiration that gave this record its sound.
"I'm looking forward to seeing other people coming into our world with this new album too.
"Our music has evolved and grown and there's going to be a lot more people out there who are drawn to us and I'm looking forward to that."

Lucia found her best boys Alasdair Scott (drums), Chris Ballantyne (bass), Adam Campbell (guitar) and Haydn Park-Patterson (keys) after they met while playing in different Glasgow and Scottish bands.
Lucia commented: " It just feels very complete with all four of us. It feels very natural and we are very lucky because we never argue. We are just the best of friends."
