An iconic bench in a Glasgow park has been upgraded by volunteers.
The Still Game bench, in Victoria Park, has recently received a facelift, including a new flowerbed and a brand-new stone path.
Members of Friends of Victoria Park and Victoria Park Community Trust raised money and cleaned up the area to improve the look.
The new features replaced some old stone steps, which were chipped and weathered, as well as a patch of overgrown grass.
The bench is famous for the BBC show episode ‘Hot Seat’, in which Jack and Victor battle with their friends, Tam and Winston to get a seat on a sunny day.
Locals and dog walkers often visit the iconic spot overlooking the flower garden in the park.
A resident said: "I come to the park for my morning walk every day.
"It's definitely nice to see that people are taking care of it."
A dog owner said: "I was surprised when I saw it. It tidies the place up.
"It's been a mess for quite a while, people sit there, drinking beer and leave their rubbish and cigarettes there."
A third person said: "I think it's good that volunteers are looking after the park, I walk past that bench every day and I see people there, relaxing.
"It looks a lot better than it used to."
