A Glasgow restaurant has been named best in the city just two years after opening.
Italian eatery Ristorante Pieno, on Hope Street, won 'Best of Glasgow' at the second annual Scottish Restaurant Awards, for the second year in a row.
The event saw renowned chefs, industry professionals and food enthusiasts gather in the city to honour the talent across the country.
Held at Glasgow's Marriott hotel on Monday, a number of local eateries were nominated across several categories recognising everything from fine dining to street food.
Malaga Tapas, which has spots in Pollokshields and Clarkston, took home the prize for Spanish Restaurant of the Year, while Piccolo Mondo on Argyle Street won Italian Restaurant of the Year.
Damasquino in Saltmarket earned the title of Lebanese Restaurant of the Year, while the award for Vegetarian Restaurant of the Year went to Glasvegan on St Enoch Square.
The Drake, based in Kelvingrove, was recognised as the Family Restaurant of the Year while Sapporo Teppanyaki earned Sushi Restaurant of the Year.

"By acknowledging their achievements, we aim to inspire continued innovation, collaboration, and growth within the industry.

"Their commitment to excellence has undoubtedly raised the bar for the Scottish culinary landscape.”
