Former Rangers star Bob Malcolm was fined for speeding.
The retired defender was caught travelling at 45 miles per hour in a 30 zone on Glasgow's A8 at Edinburgh Road.
Malcolm was behind the wheel of a white Fiat Doblo people carrier on March 31 2023.
The ex-Dundee and Motherwell player's vehicle was also found to have a pneumatic tyres.
A portion of ply or cord was also exposed on one of the front wheels.
Malcolm pleaded guilty on Thursday by letter at Glasgow's Justice of the Peace to the two charges.
The hearing was told that Malcolm, of Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire, recently underwent ankle surgery.
Justice Bernadette Campbell fined Malcolm £275 and put four penalty points on his licence.
