An 'innovative' new fast food outlet is opening in a Glasgow shopping centre.
German doner and peri-peri chicken eatery Yayas will open a new unit within the St Enoch centre.
Founded in the city, Yayas already has chains on Paisley Road West and on Fenwick Road in Giffnock, and the team are looking forward to expanding with their third shop.
Co-founder Asad Mohammed told the Glasgow Times: "Me and my brother Abbas started this adventure around three years ago.
"Yayas is different from your other food brands, embracing a youthful and trendy spirit that thrives on innovation.
"With a passion for thinking outside the box, Yayas is on the way to revolutionising the fast food industry, offering a fresh and exciting experience for adventurous eaters."
Planning to open in early September, Asad is hoping that shoppers and foodies in Glasgow will enjoy having Yayas as a unique option in the food court, and the brothers have plans to keep growing their brand after expanding into the city centre.
He added: "We are a brand that emerged from Glasgow, traditionally all the big brands come from America but we want to be the first to take a Glasgow-born brand nationally.
"We believe we can achieve this through our innovative menu and our out-of-the-box ideas.
"We are excited to see how the Glasgow-born brand performs alongside all the other brands in the food court, we believe we are bringing a different offering and variation to the food court and are really excited about this project."
