UPDATE: All traffic signals have been reset and are on and working.
Several traffic lights around Glasgow stopped working this morning due to a fault.
Drivers across the city reported issues with the devices.
Glasgow City Council has confirmed that almost one third of controllers were affected by the issue.
A spokesperson said: "We're aware some traffic lights are out across the city due to a power surge in the early hours of this morning that affected around 28% of our controllers.
"We're currently resetting them and expect normal service before lunchtime. Apologies for any inconvenience."
One person said on Facebook: "Traffic lights out next to Crossmyloof station. Watch out it's a free for all."
Another said: "Traffic lights out at Baillieston lights, guys."
It is understood that lights are affected around Glasgow but the city centre area has been fixed.
Generally, one controller controls one junction.
