Dundee rockers The View hailed Glasgow as the ‘f****g b******s while they performed on the main stage at TRNSMT today.
Frontman Kyle Falconer, appeared on stage wearing a bright red Umbro two-piece, and beamed: “Do you get any better than Glasgow? I’m from Dundee and I say that. Glasgow is the f*****g b******s”
Kicking off the set with Grace, the chatty star put on a united front with bandmate Kieren Webster after they went viral back in May over an on-stage bust-up.
He then reminded fans of their main stage worth and revealed they played the first TRNSMT over six years ago.
He told the crowd: “I think we played the first TRNSMT there ever was and now we are back together again.”
Kyle's partner Laura Wilde was pictured watching the gig from the side of the stage
Face for the Radio taken from debut Hats Off to the Buskers proved to be a highlight as the band revealed their new album is out on August 18 and they will be doing a Scottish tour.
Falconer even joked: “This is the first time we have ever promoted on stage, it feels mature.”
They then sent fans into a frenzy with the popular hit Same Jeans as Falconer boasted it would be, “Probably the best song you’ll hear all weekend,” while Superstar Tradesman and Shock Horror finished off their set in style.
