A warning has been issued to motorists ahead of essential works that will see a stretch of road in North Glasgow closed for over a month.
Due to gas network upgrading works, the council is forced to close Carntynehall Road between Merchiston Street and Carntyne Road for weeks.
The works will start on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 8am. They will be ongoing until Saturday, August 12, 2023 (time yet to be confirmed).
Drivers can expect delays and are advised to plan ahead.
Diversions:
- Northbound – Cardowan Road, Ruchazie Road, Carntyne Road
- Southbound - Carntyne Road, Ruchazie Road, Cardowan Road
