To say Inhaler completely smashed their set at TRNSMT today would be an understatement.
As the Glasgow rain began to come down, the alternative rock band from Dublin brought nothing but unbelievable talent, cheeky smiles and electricity to the main stage.
As they waved themselves onto the stage and broke into hit These Are The Days, the crowd flocked to the front for a treat of a set.
Before launching into Dublin In Ecstasy, frontman and son of Bono, Elijah Hewson said: "How you doing Glasgow? Thank you, it's nice to see you. We're very very very excited to be here."
From crowd-pleasing hits like It Won't Always Be Like This and Just To Keep You Satisfied to slower numbers like If You’re Gonna Break My Heart, the band's versatility was on full display to eager listeners.
Before bursting into Cheer Up Baby, Elijah shared fond words about Scotland.
He said: "We've made some of our favourite memories on tour in Scotland. So, thank you for being here."
The band finished their set with well-known tune My Honest Face as they rallied the Glasgow crowd into a frenzy of mosh pits and jumping.
"If you're thinking of getting up on someone's shoulders, now's the time," the frontman declared.
With his stunning vocals and charismatic stage presence, Hewson proved that he stands on his own outwith his famous father's legacy and out of the shadow, he does nothing but shine.
As the rain continued on and off during Inhaler's set, it was clear that the impressed crowd were already hooked and going nowhere.
Inhaler certainly left their mark on the main stage today and to be honest, we already want more.
