UPDATE: The incident has now been cleared.
Part of the M8 in Glasgow is closed due to an incident.
Lanes 1 and 2 of the busy motorway are currently closed eastbound near junction 15 following a road traffic collision.
Police are on the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20 pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023, police attended at two-vehicle, non-injury road crash on the M8, J15 Townhead.
"Advice and assistance was given.”
