Pale Waves certainly packed a punch into Glasgow Green this afternoon with their main stage set.

Kicking off their show with back-to-back tunes Lies and You're So Vain, the Manchester band proved why they are held to such high standards musically and live.

Glasgow Times:

Before launching into their big hit Television Romance, frontwoman Heather Baron Gracie exclaimed: "Glasgow, how you f***ing feeling."

As the show continued, the impressive four-piece played the best of their three albums, bringing nothing but energy to the TRNSMT crowd from start to finish.

They are certainly a treat to watch live, to say the least.

Glasgow Times:

Music aside, Gracie certainly wasn't shy about sharing her love for the city.

She said: "I f***ing love Scotland and I love Scottish people.

"My dad was born here and grew up in Glasgow.

"Honestly, Scottish people are the best out there and Glasgow, I am enjoying you very much."

Glasgow Times:

Not only did Gracie share her love for Glasgow, but also for women.

She said: "One thing about Pale Waves is that we're really gay.

"I f***ing love women, how could you not?"

Glasgow Times:

Pale Waves are one of the freshest takes on pop-rock in music today.

With enthusiasm and unwavering energy, the band proved they excel even more on the stage than on record.

It's a tough job to do but if anyone can do it, it's Pale Waves.
