It seems like the high street is ever-changing by the week, with just many stores closing down for good as well as opening up.
Glasgow and the surrounding areas have said goodbye to a number of well-known retailers in recent months, and we have also welcomed new stores to our shopping centres and city streets.
Back in April, Brands Outlet announced they were closing their Sauchiehall Street store, with signs appearing in the window indicating that all its stock was being put on clearance prices.
In June, DB1 Clothing shut its doors after less than a year of trading at Glasgow Fort.
It began trading in the unit next to Mamas & Papas and Waterstones, and launched a major recruitment drive. But almost seven months later, owners have pulled the plug.
At St Enoch Centre, 'closing down' signs appeared at the clothing retailer Xile in June.
Xile, which stocks brands including Barbour and Adidas, was founded in 1984 and currently operates three stores in Scotland.
And just two weeks ago, we reported that the Peloton showroom had closed on Buchanan Street.
It was the only shop in Glasgow for the exercise equipment firm, which opened on the style mile two years ago.
But it hasn't been all shutters down and empty units for Glasgow, as we have seen some exciting new stores open in recent months.
At the end of last year, Glasgow became the home of Scotland's first ever Søstrene Grene store in St Enoch Centre.
The Danish retailer is known for its quirky homeware, accessories, beauty, food and drink, stationery and more.
It was a first for Glasgow in April when we welcomed the German homeware brand Kutchenhaus to Great Western Road.
And while we bid farewell to Paperchase on Buchanan Street when the brand went into administration, it was replaced by a familiar sight when James Pringle Weavers moved back into the unit.
Out of the city in nearby Renfrew, Braehead is set to welcome a huge new TK Maxx store.
The new store will be situated close to Marks and Spencer and is expected to open within the next few months.
Which shop would you like to see open in or near Glasgow next?
