A COMMUNITY has rallied around a family whose home caught on fire.
Fire crews and police were spotted on the scene of the blaze outside Linkwood Drive in Glasgow's Drumchapel yesterday afternoon.
It's understood a family who were inside the property at the time all escaped with minor injuries, however, the home appears to have been damaged.

Residents within the Drumchapel area have now launched a fundraising appeal to bring some much-needed assistance to the family involved during this difficult time.
The JustGiving page is already more than halfway to completing the £500 target just hours after it was set up.
The page read: "A fierce fire ripped through a family home destroying everything they had.

"They fled with only the clothes on their back and will have to rebuild from scratch so any amount that is raised will help them with that.
"Clothes, food and furniture donations will be collected or picked up locally to help them on their feet.
"Thank you, Drumchapel and our neighbours, you are amazing as always."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
