Businesses have been evacuated as more than 40 firefighters tackle a blaze at an old Glasgow cinema.
We previously reported that fire crews responded to a report of a derelict building on fire at around 7pm on Tuesday evening.
Nine appliances were sent to the site of the old White Elephant cinema on Kilmarnock Road in the city's Shawlands.
The road is taped off and police have placed a diversion for road users.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has revealed that nearby buildings on the busy shopping street have been evacuated.
There are currently no reports of any injuries.
