A disused Glasgow pub could be turned into a church and community hub.
The former Cairn Bar, near the New Stobhill Hospital in Balornock, could be repurposed as a place of worship and a community centre, if the plans are approved.
Applicant Pastor Johnson from Hebron Christian Assembly Glasgow, hopes to convert the entire building, located at 133 Balornock Road.
If successful, the church will be on the ground floor, with a cafe, pantry, meeting room and a baptism pool in the basement.
The existing eight parking spaces could also be expanded to 25.
The bid is currently being considered by Glasgow City Council bosses and a decision is expected by Tuesday, September 5.
