STAFF at a Glasgow bar are on strike over pay and health and safety disputes.
Workers at the 13th Note in the Merchant City are staging a 48-hour walkout until Sunday over what trade union Unite says is a "failure of the owners to deal with concerns".
It comes after the Glasgow Times previously reported that frustrated staff members were considering industrial or legal action, accusing bosses of "dragging their heels" with a formal grievance lodged by 80% of the workforce.
At the demonstration, people were waving flags and holding up signs and they shouted to get the attention of passers-by.
One canvas read: "No contract, no profit."
Another said: "Staff our kitchen, please."
A third displayed: "No avocado this weekend."
This action is the latest part of an escalating dispute, which has been ongoing since March when workers lodged an official grievance over pay and conditions.
