A driver has been arrested in Lanarkshire after police noticed a "smell of cannabis" during a check.
Road policing officers stopped the white van for not having a valid MOT.
Officers also conducted a roadside drug test on the driver, who failed.
He was arrested for alleged drug driving.
Police Scotland Tweeted: "Lanarkshire Road Policing was out early this morning and stopped this van for a simple offence of having no valid MOT.
"Unfortunately for the driver, the stop ended up in his arrest.
"Arrested and processed. The advice is simple: don't risk it."
