A sum of money has been stolen from a Glasgow supermarket.
Co-op on Baillieston Road was broken into in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police were called to the shop and while they found no incident ongoing when they arrived, however, a sum of cash was stolen.
An investigation has now been launched into the theft.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.15am on Thursday, July 13, 2023 we were made aware of a break-in at a premises on Baillieston Road, Glasgow.
“Officers attended however there was nothing ongoing at the time. A quantity of cash was stolen and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
