Bank of Scotland has confirmed the closure of one of its Glasgow branches.
The Govan branch, in the Southside, will be shut permanently on Friday, January 9, 2024.
The company confirmed the decision to the Glasgow Times and said it is due to the rise in mobile, internet and phone banking.
A spokesperson said: “As many customers now choose to bank online or through their mobile app, visits to our Govan branch have fallen over recent years.
"When the branch closes in January, customers can continue to bank with us online, over the phone, in person at our Cardonald branch, or the local Post Office in Govan Cross Shopping Centre.”
