A woman has been rushed to hospital following an incident at a train station.
Emergency teams were called to Carluke station shortly before 6.45pm on Wednesday evening in response to a person on the tracks.
A woman was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Transport cops are not treating the incident as suspicious.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Carluke station at 6.42pm yesterday (July 19) to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Officers attended and a woman was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
We previously reported that train services between Wishaw and Lanark were disrupted as 999 services dealt with the incident.
