A PERSON had to be rescued from a popular beauty spot near Glasgow.
Emergency services were called out to the Devil's Pulpit at Finnich Glen at around 4.30pm yesterday following reports of a person in difficulty.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) worked with their partners at Mountain Rescue to bring them to safety.
The SFRS sent two water rescue units to the scene as well as water and rope specialists.
They were looked over by paramedics following the incident.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 4.33pm on Thursday, July 20, to reports of a person in difficulty at Devil's Pulpit, Finnich Glen, Killearn, Stirlingshire.
"Operations Control mobilised two appliances and two water rescue units to the scene.
“SFRS water and rope rescue specialists supported partners at Mountain Rescue, who brought the casualty to safety before handing them into the care of paramedics.
"Firefighters left at 5.50pm after ensuring the area was safe."
The attraction is a popular tourist spot for Glaswegians with thousands visiting every year.
Scottish Mountain Rescue and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
