Part of a busy road will be shut for a week.
To allow for improvement work to the water network in Milngavie, a stretch of Strathblane Road (A81) is being reduced to one lane from July 31.
This will be in effect between the Bankell Farm road access to North Lodge.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place during this time.
Road traffic management has been arranged with East Dunbartonshire Council’s roads department and it will allow work to be carried out on the carriageway.
The work is part of an ongoing project to improve services to more than 50,000 customers and it is being carried out for Scottish Water by its alliance partners Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA).
