A residential street has been taped off after a boy was 'attacked'.
The 15-year-old was allegedly assaulted in the Lomond Court area of Cumbernauld on Tuesday.
Cops were called to the scene at around 5.25pm and it is understood that police tape has been erected in the area.
They have since arrested three males - aged 18, 17 and 15 - in connection with the alleged incident.
A police investigation remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a 15-year-old male having been assaulted in the Lomond Court area of Cumbernauld around 5.25pm on Tuesday, July 25.
“He has been taken to hospital for treatment.
“Three males, aged 18, 17 and 15, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
