Two drivers were stopped by road police with "no insurance" on a busy motorway.
The motorists were checked by officers while driving on the A82 motorway in Dumbarton.
One man, aged 38, was fined £300 and issued a six-point penalty and another man, 37, was reported for not having insurance and his tyre displaying cord.
The force said on Twitter: "Dumbarton Road Policing have stopped two vehicles for no insurance on the late shift already.
"Both stopped on the A82 in Dumbarton.
"Remember to ensure you check all correspondence from your insurance provider."
