Motorists are warned to avoid an area after police locked down a major road.
Glasgow Road at Blantyre is closed as emergency services are on the scene.
This is after a collision involving one vehicle.
Greater Glasgow Road Policing said on Twitter: "Glasgow Road in Blantyre is currently closed following a road crash involving one vehicle.
"Police were contacted around 11.30am today and emergency services are on the scene. Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route."
Police Scotland were approached for comment.
