Over 360 new flats could be built in place of a gym in Glasgow.
Plans have been submitted to Glasgow City Council to build two blocks of homes in Finnieston.
If successful, the development would sit at 11 Minerva Street, near the Exhibition Centre and consist of 362 flats.
Applicant Redevco said the North block will extend to a maximum of nine storeys, stepping down to eight to the West, and a South block will be made out of 7 storeys.
Currently, the area is home to a Nuffield Health gym.
Inside, there would be one, two and three-bed homes.
The proposal also includes internal amenity spaces for residents, such as lounge areas, gym, yoga studio, TV/games room, parcel room, open lounge bar, library, private dining space, and flexible working space which extend to approximately 768sq m across the ground and first floors.
Outside, documents revealed a roof terrace, balconies to upper-floor flats, two children’s play areas and external amenity green space, bike storage and car park.
The site is next to several other ongoing developments in the area.
The bid is currently being considered by Glasgow City Council and a decision is expected to be made by Friday, September 29.
