A prisoner has died at Barlinnie.
Robert Lovelock died at the Glasgow prison on Sunday, July 30.
He had been remanded at Hamilton Sheriff Court in 2023.
Police have been made aware of his death and it has been reported to the procurator fiscal.
The Scottish Prison Service has also said that a fatal accident inquiry will be held in due course.
A spokesperson said: "Robert Lovelock, 32, prisoner at HMP Barlinnie has died on Sunday 30 July 2023.
"He was remanded at Hamilton Sheriff Court in 2023.
"Police Scotland have been advised and the matter reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"A Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held in due course."
