Two men are due in court after they were allegedly stopped in a stolen car.
Road cops were aware that a car had been stolen in a recent robbery and then used to carry out other housebreakings in Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
They spotted the vehicle on the M80 on Friday night and pursued it.
Two of the three occupants were arrested and charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences, crimes of dishonesty and drug offences.
The force shared an image which appeared to show a breathalyser with a reading of 37, against a legal limit of 22.
Another image showed a drug test which came up positive for cocaine and cannabis.
