A teen has been hospitalised after a police chase involving a motorbike.
Cops pursued a motorbike in the Knightswood area of Glasgow on Saturday evening.
The rider, a 16-year-old boy, allegedly failed to stop.
He is then said to have crashed on Loanfoot Avenue, which was taped off by cops on Saturday, according to social media reports.
The boy suffered minor injuries and was rushed to hospital to be treated.
He is being reported to the procurator fiscal in connected with alleged road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.25 pm on Saturday, August 19 2023, the rider of a motorcycle failed to stop for police and crashed on Loanfoot Avenue, Knightswood, Glasgow.
"The 16-year-old rider sustained minor injury and was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
"He will be the subject to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged road traffic offences."
