The exact dates of a year-long Glasgow road closure have been revealed.
As the Glasgow Times reported yesterday, Shields Road will be shut for a year.
This is to allow the Network Rail bridge to be demolished and rebuilt near the road.
Now, the transport company has revealed the details of the restriction.
The road will be closed to all vehicular traffic between St Andrews Drive and Scotland Street between 00.01am on Monday, August 28, 2023 and 10pm on Friday, August 30, 2024.
A temporary pedestrian bridge will be erected from around September 11, 2023 and this will be maintained throughout the works.
Access to the Arnold Clark car dealership will be maintained from Scotland Street.
