AN investigation has been launched after a man was "seriously" assaulted near Glasgow.
A 53-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on Sunday, August 27 after an assault took place at a flat on Gallowhill Road, Paisley.
Now, officers are looking to trace a man following the incident which took place around 2.40pm.

Detective Sergeant David Tomlison of CID said: "Extensive enquiries are ongoing, we are carrying out door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace the man responsible.
"I would appeal to anyone who saw the man in the area before or after the incident.
"I would also appeal to any motorists or taxi drivers who have dash cam footage, you may have captured something that would assist our investigation."
