Restaurant staff have said it was an 'honour' to host a milestone birthday of a Celtic legend.
Bobby Lennox celebrated his 80th birthday on Wednesday and he chose to spend it at Cecchinis in Ardrossan.
The Italian eatery is near the Lisbon Lion's hometown of Saltcoats.
The staff at the venue shared a photo of the occasion which was celebrated by Lennox and his family.
They wrote: "It was an absolute honour to host Bobby Lennox & his family for his 80th Birthday. Happy Birthday, Bobby."
As well as being one of the winning squad at the 1967 European Cup, Lennox won 11 leagues, eight Scottish Cups and five League Cups during his 17 years with the club.
He was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
