Two motorways will face a series of overnight closures this month.

To allow for work on mainline carriageways, the M80 between Junctions 3 and 7, and the M73 near Junction 3 will be shut between 8pm and 6am.

Beginning on September 18, teams will work in phases over a 12-day period until September 29.

Signed diversions will be in place when necessary and there will be no traffic restrictions at these times.
