A man has been rushed to hospital after a multiple-vehicle crash.
Four vehicles collided on the M80 motorway near junction 6 Old Inns in Cumbernauld.
The northbound motorway was closed for around two hours on Saturday afternoon, causing traffic disruption and delays.
The casualty was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital to be treated for injuries.
Cops confirmed that one of the drivers, a 60-year-old man, has been reported in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.15pm on Saturday, September 9, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving four vehicles on the M80 Northbound, at J6, near Old Inns.
“One man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
"The driver of one of the vehicles, a 60-year-old man, will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.
"The road fully reopened around 3pm.”
