A new park in Sighthill has officially opened for business.
The new North Glasgow addition was launched yesterday during the Sighthill Community Fun Day organised by Glasgow City Council.
Starting at 12pm and finishing at 3pm, the day featured face painting, glitter tattoos, stalls, a silent disco and a scran van providing hot dogs and burgers.

With structures installed by Glasgow City Council, Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren, chair of the Sighthill TRA Local Delivery Group, said: "The new linear park in Sighthill is a fantastic place for local people and visitors to enjoy.
"The play facilities at different locations in the park - as well as the climbing wall at the adjacent Canal Terrace - are great for families and children, and a key part of the transformation of Sighthill."
