A Glasgow library has shut temporarily due to flooding.
Baillieston Library was closed to the public yesterday because of flooding.
Glasgow Life has confirmed that work is underway to fix the issue and the facility is expected to reopen next Monday.
A spokesperson for Glasgow Life said: “Due to flooding, the floors at Bailieston Library need to be dried and cleaned before it can re-open.
"It will remain shut while we carry out this work and other necessary checks and we hope to welcome people back to the library from Monday, September 18.
"We will update users on progress.”
