999 crews were called to a disturbance on Wednesday but found "no trace" of the incident.
Police Scotland has confirmed that they were alerted around 5pm, to an incident involving three men in Bailieston, in the East End.
When officers got to the scene, they did not find the men.
The disturbance was allegedly witnessed by the passengers of two buses, who had to stay on the scene.
As a result, several services were diverted.
On Twitter, First Bus said: "Due to a police incident at Caledonia Road, we are diverting via Old Wood Road and Calderwood Road.
"Two buses are also at the site due to being witnesses to the incident. Apologies for the disruption."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, officers were called to a report of a disturbance involving three men on Caledonia Road in Ballieston.
“Officers attended however there was no trace of those involved.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
